Cesena Apartment

YEAR: 2010
ARCHITECT: Laura Cavalca
LOCATION: private house – Cesena (Italy)

DESCRIPTION

The project was born from the necessity of the owner to live this house near the Cesena hills with simplicity and personality. Contemporary design and ethnic elements were chosen for this project: black & white are the perfect colors for ornaments and pictures, basic white for the furniture and black for the english-style wallpaper in the kitchen and the bedrooms.
Grey glass walls were chosen to separate the kitchen from the living room and for the bathroom: these neat architectural elements are both functional and decorative.
The floor, which was initially cherry-wood brown, has been turned in shades of white so to give more light to the apartment, which looks out onto wide terraces specifically furnished in order to enjoy the best of the house in the summer.
